Enrique Ortiz de Landázuri Yzarduy (a.k.a. Enrique Bunbury), born August 11, 1967 is a Spanish singer - songwritter. As the lead singer of Héroes del Silencio, Enrique Bunbury helped turn Spanish rock & roll into a global phenomenon during the 1990s. Heroes del Silencio developed a large audience that extended into Switzerland, America, France, Germany, and even Serbia, thanks to a heavy tour schedule that often took the band around the world. The group hit its creative peak with 1995's Avalancha and broke up one year later, giving Bunbury the chance to launch a solo career.
